Bowlers
The DAC boasts the largest private bowling program in the nation. Comprised of over 800 bowlers in 24 leagues, the Bowling Center is always alive with activity. Even if you choose not to participate, it's great fun to be a spectator while enjoying a bite to eat or a cocktail in the Abbey. Bowling began at the DAC's original clubhouse on Woodward Avenue in 1888, making it the oldest continuous sport in the Club. Open bowling is available weekdays during lunch time and the Bowling Center and Abbey can be rented for private parties during the off-season (May - August).
